Shiitake Mycelia Extract

To view our product formulation click here Shiitake Mycelia Extract

Latin:Lentinus edodes

Description: The mycelia is the immature stage of the Shiitake mushroom. This form of the mushroom is potent in several nutrients including carbohydrates, protein, vitamins, and minerals. These nutrients give the body a great deal of immune support.

Parts Used: Mycelia

Common Use: Shiitake mycelia stimulates macrophages to engulf foreign objects by recognizing antigens and transferring information to T-helper cells. If the foreign bodies are destroyed then the odds of contracting an infection or disease is very limited and not probable. Since Shiitake mycelia is able to increase immune support, bacterial and viral proliferation may be slowed.
