PLANTADOPHILUS©
Each capsule possesses a culture count of over two billion colony forming units of Lactobacillus Plantarum from a pure plant nutrient base. Refrigerate for optimum benefit Plantadophilus doubles its population in less than five minutes making it stronger than any Acidophilus on the market. L. Plantarum is more stable and multiplies faster than L. Salvarus and other bacterium. Size: Price:

The benefits of L. Acidophilus and
Bifidobacterium are well known. They
aid in the balance of good bacteria in
the large intestine and are grown and
delivered in dairy products. Stronger
and more powerful versions of helpful
bacteria strains like L. Plantarum are
grown on plant products. There are
lesser strains like L. Salivarius which
are similar, but lack the ability to
multiply as quickly and are not as
stable. Transformation has now
released the product Lactobacillus
Plantarum under the name
Plantadophilus.

The oxygen generated lactobacillus in
the Transformation product produces
lactic acid as a main product from
carbohydrates. Lactic acid
encourages a more acidic
environment which inhibits less
desirable microorganisms. The pH
balance of the colon is controlled
solely by lactic acid.

Restated, there is an actual creation
of highly favorable natural chemicals
in the colon through the fermentation
process of the lactic acid. Lactic acid
lowers the pH of the contents in the
intestinal tract and prevents the
growth of harmful bacteria in the
intestines. The presence of lactic
acid at low but constant levels on the
inner surface of the intestinal tract
helps restore the normal balance of
the intestinal flora. This is evident
after taking only one capsule of
Plantadophilus.

The byproducts of fermentation
include natural antibiotics such as
acidiphilin, along with very important
digestive enzymes. This helps in the
ongoing production of B vitamins and
digestive enzymes and ensures
proper digestion and absorption of
nutrients through the intestinal villi.

The digestive enzymes play an
extremely important role in the
digestion of otherwise incompletely
digested protein and other food
substances. These beneficial
bacteria are an important ingredient in
the detoxification of the body. The
organism L. Plantarum is believed to
be especially productive of proteolytic
enzymes, that is, enzymes that act on
protein and clear protein wastes from
the system.

For a number of years the media has
had us clambering for more fiber in our
diets. What we are not told is that the
cellulase which breaks down the fiber
has been removed from those
products. The soluble fiber forms a
gel-like matrix in the small and large
intestine which delays the passage of
food through the colon, forming gas
and other problems. This gel-like
substance creates malabsorption. L.
Plantarum is an unusual lactobacillus
in that it liquefies gelatin.

This means that the viable organisms
survive the digestive process and
produce an acid environment by
glucose fermentation. The acid
environment inhibits the putrid matter
normally present in the intestines.
This putrid matter produces toxic
chemicals which make up intestinal
putrefaction such as phenol and
skatole, which for the most part
escape the detoxification action of
the liver. Having bypassed the liver,
these toxins enter the general
circulation where they can produce
pathological changes in tissues,
aggravate existing conditions of
weakness, and put unnecessary
stress on the immune system before
being excreted by the kidneys. The
toxins are small proteins which are
easily absorbed into the bloodstream.
L. Plantarum is able to act on these
protein toxins while they are still in the
intestinal tract, thus removing a major
burden from the organs and allowing
the organs to complete their natural
functions with much greater
efficiency.

It is this intestinal toxicity that creates
a low immune system. Pockets and
folds in the intestinal tract can be filled
with toxic matter causing
inflammation, infection and discomfort.
Accumulation of toxins is common in
colon diverticula and is responsible for
diverticulosis and many other serious
complications.

Due to the microorganisms ability to
gain entry into the diverticular pocket,
the presence of L. Plantarum may
prove to be an effective treatment for
toxemia caused by this condition.

Lactobacilli possess nutritive value.
They promote the production of B
vitamins in the intestine and assist in
the production of enzymes which
partially hydrolyze proteins, fat, and
lactose and increase digestibility of
like products. Physicians have used
L. Plantarum with successful results.

According to the National Cancer
Institute, lactic acid balance and
lysine support are believed to lower
the risk of cancer. The lactobacilli
serve to sequester cancer causing
agents before they can be absorbed
by the body. Research done at the
University of Nebraska shows that L.
Plantarum synthesizes a large amount
of Lysine. It is the balance between
Lysine and Argenine that is critical for
a healthy immune system. When
Argenine is high, fungal forms,
allergies and viruses are not kept
under control. Conversely, when
Lysine is high, the immune system is
able to control herpes and other
invaders. L. Plantarum helps maintain
the proper balance between Lysine
and Argenine.

In summary, L. Plantarum is capable
of being utilized throughout the
gastrointestinal tract. It digests
harmful scavenger protein and has
lysine which is essential for good
intestinal balance. L. Plantarum
assists the body in producing more of
its own enzymes which support the
immune system. It assists in the
balancing of the body by eliminating
toxins which removes stress from all
organs, especially the liver. The acid
base balance of the large intestine
helps fight cancer linked bacteria and
other degenerative diseases.
Undigested food finding its way to
the colon can be broken down and
passed from the body before it can
cause problems. With the toxins
removed, colon disorders like diarrhea
are controlled. L. Plantarum
continues to grow within the large
intestine creating a natural antibiotic.

For anyone suffering from malnutrition,
spastic colon, stressed gall bladder
and liver, toxic bodies and other
maladies that are common in today's
society, this natural antibiotic may be
the answer. Until the body's
imbalance is taken care of, the
possibility of being truly healthy is
greatly inhibited, if not impossible!

It is important to reiterate that
Transformation, Inc. includes no dairy
products in our enzyme supplements.
Some confusion with the name
"Lactobacillus" is understandable, but
by definition this is a genus of
bacteria. Lactobacillus Planarum is a
pure plant source
Suggested Usage: 2 capsules before bed and 1 capsule upon arising. For convenience, you may take all three capsules at bedtime. Dosage may be increased as needed. PLANTADOPHILUS should be refrigerated for optimum benefit.
